The photos are as breathtakingly beautiful as usual, but there is one other thing I like. Once, when diving off Mendocino, I
went to the base of a very steep reef that Eric called Snow Cone due to its shape. It was a lush, vital dive spot. At about 90
feet, the base is on a boulder field that goes off... who knows how far. I figured the large boulders probably harbored a fair
amount of life, but it was pretty dark and pretty deep and I had little air to explore what was a fairly forbidding, but
enticing place. Really though to enjoy it, one would need lights too. Anyhow, looking at your images, especially the boulder with
all the anemones brilliantly lit to show their vivid colors. I bet that with lights and some patience the boulder field I saw
would have some similarities.
