If they put it somewhere that it might pick up some anemone growth and such it would add a nice change of scenery to the normal diving at Catalina. Catalina doesn't really have any good wrecks except for what is left of the Valiant and that wreck is hard to dive because of the location. Also, because of its location it never has acquired some of the growth that can make a wreck beautiful in SoCal.

Where at Catalina are they planning to add this?

Catalina has one thing that Santa Monica bay usually doesn't - visibility.
