There are some dive stores that will not sell spear fishing gear (even if it cost them sales). And there are some dives stores that will not allow spear fishing on there charter boats(even if it cost them sales).
There are also some dive professionals that see the big picture. Killing the very animals that we go to see, is short sighted and greedy (it's like taking a BM in your own front yard). If there is to be a dive community in the coming years, we have to leave something for the next generation to dive.
