Gosh, you have me here. I have never seen a DM work their asses off. Are you talking about the ones that go diving, and leave the deck with no DM's, or the ones that when a diver is down current they look to the crew and ask for the chase boat, or the DM that said he could not help, because he was afraid he would cramp his legs?
I do not know who you are, so perhaps you do work your ass off. I don't know. I have just not seen it.
Most of the time the crew are the ones that help out when the shit hits the fan. I have seen DM's hide when there are problems.
