I am considering buying a used BC and regulator. The BC is a Dacor Nautica and the reg. is a Mares MR12 III. They have little use and appear to be in good condition. My only concern is that they are nine years old. I would have the regulator checked/rebuilt as necessary, and if the BC fits and holds air (no dry rot, etc.) I would think it is OK to use. Is there any reason to be concerned about using this equipment? Thanks for your advice.
