Simply inspecting before and fully rinsing after every dive, or yearly service? Can you see a pending power inflator problem through inspection? Will annual service pick this up? I don't know the answers to these.
By chance, yesterday on another board I asked how many people had annual service on their BCs Granted only about 10 people responded, but only 2 or so said they had annual inspections done (I specifically excluded Air 2s and other second stages in my question). I imagine that the responses would be similar here.
