There's a wise old saying: a mind expanded by a new idea never shrinks back to its original shape. And after today's great dive on the Great Escape my mind has been expanded by finally understanding the concept, gear configurations, and philosopy of DIR: Doing It Right. Thank you Mike Kane and Terry May for clearing up the misconceptions that DIR is a tangle of cluttered gear and expensive redundancy that so called tech divers use who don't understand the simplicity and compactness of DIR.
