I was thinking about taking the girlfriend out
to play around the sea lions off Santa Barbara Island
this Valentine's weekend, and the only boat
going out there is the Pacific Dream. I have read
some discouraging words about the boat and its
"value" (the trip is a whopping $149 per person),
but no specifics. Can anyone, anonymously or
otherwise (or through e-mail), fill me in on the
boat, its crew, and any specific shortcomings.
Though the boat seems like a nice piece of machinery
(website stats), $300 for two is a lot of cash for a
short trip, especially since the GE can do it for
$99 a person...
