If it *really* hit the fan, you could purge a reg up your sleeve. I tried this (sort of), and it really didn't work too well. Mostly just wasted air. But I imagine it would be better than nothing.
But with an AIR-2 you can't lose the LP hose, because that's the octo too. (sorry, couldn't help myself; and no, I don't have one)
