Id have to agree, but both with you and with MHK's answer. I work in the airline industry and can tell you that if we limited ourselves to MHK's reply, you wouldnt be able to get from LAX to SAN in less then a day. We used extremely complicated computers nowadays, do they fail? Hell yeah they fail, How often? not very, but we maintain them the best we can and our pilots actually have to know how to fly the aircraft before we let him play with the gadets.
Use good gear, keep it maintained, and dive happy.
