i get my tanks filled at a dive store that requires nitrox banners. i can live with that. its not the end of the world for me.
in modern beach social dynamics, nitrox banners carry some weight of prestige among many divers. i am happy with that.
i dont personally believe that myself, because in my mind, the DIR diver with his twin 105 LP steel tanks, and his drysuit, and his unique gear set up, is the most prestigious diver, this side of the U.S. Navy anyway, and there are no banners. i can live with that too.
live and let live. i forgot where that phrase originally comes from. i remember where do unto others comes from. somebody needs to look up live and let live in a phrase book, and tell us.
