GlnSD has been railing about what he calls harassment in the GUE training.
But lets remember that GUE is training TECH divers not entry level. What GLnSD calls
harassment was common practice in the 70’s and early 80’s for most entry level classes
for both PADI and NAUI. GLnSD has stated that the military has stopped this practice
and that it is to dangerous.
Question, how can any diver be self-reliant if they can’t recover from having their mask
pulled off or their reg. pulled out of their month.
Has the military gone soft during the Clinton years, does GUE have tougher standards
then the NAVY SEALS (or for that matter the entry level divers trained in the 70’ s and
the 80’s).
