First off, how about providing some supporting material regarding your "statistical" deaths. How about priving information such as the number of years diving experience they had, when their last training class was, the highest certification level they reached. Also, tell us what the actual cause of death was, if it was equipment failure an explicit description of how the equipment failed. Tell us about the victim's physical makeup. What was their age, their race, height, weight, cholesterol count. What activities were they doing throught their dive(s) that day?

People die all the time. And saying that 50% more people have died diving this year than last doesn't mean a damn thing without any of the above information.

As far as pushing DIR and conducting demos that's highly notable of you Mike. But you also have to allow people to take responsibility for their own actions. If they don't accept it fine. You've taken time to show them something that might be safer but if they don't want to accept it, that is their own decision. Leave it at that.

As to the whole censoring:

It's his forum, he can do with it as he pleases. This is not a public forum but a private forum open to the public. As such, there are no "free speach" protections or are any such protections implied.

If you don't like the service at a restraunt, then don't return there.

Glenn
