I though the F&G outlawed the lobster whistles
because they gave the diver an un-fair advantage.
Does this mean we can use them again?

If I remember correctly, some divers were hooking
up the whistles to spare LP or DS IH's, basically
overdriving them and creating a pain to the other
divers in the water using the similar in design
crab-n-ab whistles.

And $179.95 is an aweful lot for a lobster
whistle. Go to Ebay and bid on them there. If you
are so inclined, I can sell you the plans to make
one. It's a design I basically reverse engineered
from Jackalope Enterprises (hte originator of the
second generation of lobster whistles). It's only
takes all of $40 in parts, but it worked great the
last time I used one.
