Sorry to interrupt, but I think you're really asking about the single tank adaptor (STA) which connects to the tank with straps and mounts to the backplate with bolts. The old Halcyon STA had the tank riding higher off the back than the new one. The SP may be similar to the new Halcyon. Other people make flush STA's, as well.
The backplate is seperate and is pretty similar one to the next. The webbing can be different, but that's another thread.
