Has it failed Hydro or not? If not, why not give/sell it to someone who will send it in for hydro?

If it has failed hydro, let me know 'cause I want to cut one in half from top to bottom and turn the two halves into planters for my front yard!

Otherwise, it has cash value for recycling regardless whether or not it is steel or aluminum. And the valve probably has value, either as a replacement for a failed valve on another cylinder, or as recycled brass (despite the fact that it is probably chrome plated). No wonder the guys that own dive shops want to get their hands on it - business has been pretty slow and the opportunity to recycle ups the bottom line!
