Digital is getting there. It hasn't caught up
with slide film. Yet. The lowest number anybody
puts on 35mm is about 9 megapixels. In time, \
digital will catch up. It seems to have slowed
down lately, perhaps because anything bigger than
3 megapixels is beyond the bleeding edge of what
is displayed on today's computer monitors,
perhaps because today's digital cameras are good
enough for the snapshooter.

However, digital isn't bad. Last Sunday Herb Ko
did a show for Diving Singles that was shot with
a 3 megapixel digital, and then turned into slides
by taking pictures of his computer monitor. It
was better than a fair number of shows I've seen
that were shot 35 mm.

And it's Newbert, not Newberg.
