If you plug your nose while sneezing (hard sneeze), could you cause injury to your lungs, etc.. Much in the same way as making an ascent too quickly while holding your breathe?
If one has injured themselves doing this.. without actually knowing it (weakened the lung, etc.), could a VERY serious injury occur during a dive? Would that individual be more suseptable to a diving injury if they created say a Mediastinal Emphysema from an activity like above (holding nose while sneezing/mouth closed), that was not detected, prior to diving?
What are your thoughts?
