OSHA, one of the scarier 4 letter words.
I can read part of the "exemption" as saying that trimix & rebreather instructors might be percieved as being outside the exemption normally given to scuba instructors. There is an "equivalent limits" loophole though.
Here's a quote from OSHA's exemption explanation:
"Instructional diving utilizing only open-circuit compressed air SCUBA within the no-decompression limits"

This is probably one of those cases that'll slide 'till some Johnnie Cochran wannabe gets ahold of it.

What's your take on this possible scary situation?

My last meeting with an OSHA inspector got me 2 pages of writeups, by the way.
