I assume you mean the Reefmaster SL515 camera. From a quick check online you can buy the camera by itself for around $169, and there's a "Photo Set" consisting of the camera, closeup lens and case available for around $249 (does the set you're offered include a separate substrobe?).

I'm sure you would be able to take decent pictures with this camera, but if I were in your shoes I'd want to try some cameras before spending several hundred bucks to get committed to a system. When I took the Peace to Anacapa in December I helped a diver with an Ikelite Aquashot camera (another low-end system) that he had rented from one of the local dive shops that books classes onto the Peace. Would renting be an option while you make up your mind? I can't help but thinking that if you really got caught by the photo bug you'd want to upgrade quickly to a better 35mm system or a digital camera.
