Neither the landing craft or the MOODY were ever salvaged by the California Wreck Divers as an official club diving function. Items have been recovered by divers who dove them individually and independently and just happen to be past and present members of the club, a club I co-founded in 1971. It's not accurate to indict the whole club in your self-rightous indignation which has the slight odor of sour grapes.
