I want to dive the C.I. Harbor breakwall this weekend on a night freedive for bugs, but I've never been out there before. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to dive the breakwall without a boat? In other words can I just make a quick surface swim from the shore? Or will the Harbor Patrol be all over me if they see me swim across there. Ofcourse I would be extremely careful to watch for any boats motoring through the area and I am an excellent swimmer. My question is more in concern about the rules/laws there.
