Short but true story.

I once was paid a nice fee ($300 per hour) to testify as an expert witness in a criminal case. The charge was about a woman logging onto the internet under somewone elses name, buying merchendise, which she paid for, and had sent to the person whos name she used. It was her boyfriend and his wife was upset (go figure). She was conviced and drew a jail sentence.

Moral of the story. You can log on and inpersonate someone else if you want to, but there can be consenquences.
