I took Ross O out diving yeaterday and beat the approaching storm. Our first dive was at the wreck of the Olympic II. I've made dives there with conditions ranging from zero vis to about 100 feet, the best dive I've ever had in California. Yesterday was average. The surface was choppy and there was a slight bottom current. Vis was about twenty feet. I always feel that if you can see where you're going, it's good enough vis. Saw several large(for SoCal) Lingcod and one Sea Lion. Our second dive was at Buchanon's reef, a few hundred yards offshore between Marineland and Pt. Vicente. Pictures can be found here.
