Steve- I think Cynde's point was that Casino Point was a healthy ecosystem because it has been protected for 40+ years. There really is relatively little artificial feeding of animals here (except the occasional bag of peas or bread, and the killing of the sea urchins). The artificial feeding occurs at nearby Lover's Cove where I feel the ecosystem species composition has been shifted due to it.
