Jim, Where are you staying? It is "customary" to dive with the operation at the resort you are staying. If you are staying at a place that doesn't recommend a shop, then you are on your own. We have used Sand$ (when we stayed there at the Sand$) and I housesat last summer for some folks who own a house on Small Wall (dive site). I used Buddy's. They were both exceptional. I haven't heard any bad reports of any of the dive shops on the island. To find some great answers, and get tips from folks that frequent the island to go www.bonairetalk.com. They have categories for accomodations, diving, eating, etc.
