Need good dive spots for late Dec. trip to San Diego area

I was certified in SD many years ago(UCSD, early 80's), but still dive (cold water; Monterey, CA).

My son and I will be in the SD area in late Dec and will be doing a few boat dives to the Yukon and Ruby. However, we are interested in knowing about decent shore dives we could do, off any beach.

We have experience in many different diving conditions, dive singles, etc.

What are the recommendations? Any good websites for SD shore diving?
