i agree about not wanting to buy a license if one doesn't take game. I have absolutely no objections to donating money to the dept, just don't want to be associated with the takers while doing so.

Too bad the dept doesn't have a system that allows people to pay for how much they actually take. Some anglers will take 3-4 fish a year, others will take literally hundreds of fish per year, yet the dept recieves the same revenue from each user. Pay as you play should apply to the commercial fishermen as well...


Thirty bucks for a license is way too cheap. It has the effect of discounting the value of the incredible inhabitants of our shared environment. For the recreational dollar, the license fee is still THE best bargain, too much so!
