Bottom Scratcher History

I used to dive on the Bottom Scratcher and San Dollar a lot back when they were together in San Diego. I got out of diving for a years while in college, then when I got back into it the two boats were in LA and had new owners. Can anyone fill me in on what happened with Bill Johnson and why they were sold?
