Well if that's truly the case then he ought to think about giving up diving. Had he LISTENED to the briefing, FOLLOWED the diving protocols, and not DREIFTED underwater in the blue trying to find the rig &/or his "buddies" then none of this would have happened (IMHO). The DMs screwed up the roll call but even if they had done it right, Dan was already off and drifting, a fact Dan still does not seem to understand or embrace.
