Dive boats: overcrowding??

Hi all, Our local shop charters the (Ex*****r) usually with about 24 divers, The last time we went our gear was in the rear corner. Our stuff must have looked like a step for all the trampling it took. We had to wait for others to get suited up and jump just to get room to suit up ourselves. This boat is a charter fishing vessel with the bait tank still active, This takes up about 1/3 of the deck space, With bcd's and tanks on the rail there is no where to sit, Is this the same for the other boats? I see the next charter is with the Peace I hope to try it. What are some of the better boats in the Ventura area?
