Merry and I went out with Ross-O to the wreck of the Olympic II this morning. We slipped through the Simple Green layer to find a dark fifteen feet of vis on the wreck. I shot a couple dozen wide angle images, none of which I will share with you. :(
Merry spotted a Triopha catalinae amidst the corynactis. Just as I set my camera in macro a sea lion buzzed us. Naturally.
Before the dive, Ross and I checked out a high spot nearby that turned out to be a large rockpile with lots of red sponges, nudis, snails and gorgonian, but no fish.
