We live in Alaska. My wife has a doctor's visit in Santa Monica on the 20th. We will have a day (21st) to dive and hope to take advantage of diving in your neck of the woods before flying back to Alaska. This allows for appropriate no-dive time before flying. My wife would like to try to see a Garabaldi. We're not really up for large surf entries, but are used to cold water and prefer shore diving. We dive Puget Sound semi-regularly during summers with families. Any suggestions? Would the ferry to Catalina be our best bet? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
