hi chris,

my friends are in the san gabriel valley; since they'd have to travel west to do their open water dives anyway, i figured they could just as readily travel wherever they needed to in order to find a good, safe, and relatively inexpensive open water certification course. hopefully, they'll become as excited about diving as i am (i just got back from my cousin's wedding in hawaii--i was able to squeeze in a couple days' worth of diving while there). if you happen to have any recommendations that could help me persuade them that it's more fun to be underwater than in the smog, i'd appreciate it!
