I think that in this case, hauling a marine creature out of the water and tossing it in a bucket to take photos is a ridiculous self congratulatory pursuit. It would have been so much more beautiful and enjoyable to have seen a great photograph of the eel in the comfort and safety its natural environment. I hope it wasn't physically harmed in any way... They are gorgeous inquisitive creatures that shouldn't be traumatized and don't belong in a paint bucket.
