Boy the custom suit people have you guys snowed. Chris thinks that all custom suit are made from yamamoto rubber(wow). I have had 2 M&B suits one in the late 70's and one the late 80's both were cold and fit poorly. Sense then I only used rack suits and Xcel was the best of those. I have a Xcel 9/7/6 skin-in right now and it's as warm a suit as I have ever had.
I have sold a few 100 custom suits over the years (mostly to big people who couldn't fit in a stock rack suits). To be truthful I alway felt the custom suits were over priced and the rack suit was a better buy for my customer.
If you want another opinion talk to Mike at New England, or Debbie a Ocean gear, or Andrea at Scuba World, or Hosam at Beach Cities there's about 200 years of scuba experience.
They will all give you an honest opinion and honest advice
that's what the local dive store does.
