However I primarily use console mounted gauges since I hunt. For lobster hunting and spearfishing have your arms need to be free of stuff that can get caught or interfere. I use a short custom gauge hose and clip the gauges to my left shoulder d-ring so they don't hang and get in the way. When I take picture I sometimes use a 3rd wrist mounted computer because it is easier to glance at while operating the camera. Another advantage of console mounted computers is that you can't forget it on a dive, it always goes with the dive gear. I have somtimes forgotten my wrist computer when I go on a dive.
