A shot in the dark...

I recall Lill Lancaster, wife Capt Arnie Lancaster organized the first Avalon UW Clean up about 1970.

I was a participant of that first event.

Mavis Hill took some pictures and wrote an article for one of the then dive magazines; Dive, Aquarous or Skin Diver. The lead picture of the article was of me walking off Capt. Eddie Stukamura's Golden Doubloon carring my equipment

I can't recall the year, month, or magazine. Can any one recall the day year or month of the first event?

Or is there an established history of the event?

I have a rather extensive historical reference library, but I have very little on the Chamber Day event.

When did it begin?
Is there any published articles on Chamber Day?
