This was probably in the late 90's. Just after sunup on the bank; one last swim on that wreck before the run home..

Beautiful morning, bright sunshine and calm winds, the only thing on the horizon was the buoy.

i had been swimming in blissful solitude for a while when this one time i came up for a breath of air and there was a Navy helicopter hovering about 20 yards away:(

Door open, animated guy pointing and yelling at me---

Wha....?

i slowly scan a portion of the horizon, then shake my gloved finger toward my face as if to say:

"are you talking to me?"

as it turned out, he was talking to ΆΡ me...


Always happy to be in compliance, sorry to be so difficult to get a hold of...
