Actually, I believe the last SCUBA/GWS fatality took place u/w near Point Bennett (aka Shark Park) as the diver (commercial urchin diver - I believe Robinson was the name)was trolling himself via DPV.
One bite. Radius of bite was knee to groin with a near severing of the leg at the knee, but cause of death was exsanguination due to a nicked femoral vein. Attack definitely took place u/w.
Diver was very much bothered, and was not bolting for the surface.
Stay wet - but be veywee careful!
