ok, i get your gist and you may have a point there
(since, as you can tell, i'm quite ignorant of
what there is to learn about nitrox).
but then i read about people buying oxygen analyzers
or making their own home-made versions and it seems
that now you've taken it up a big fat step. it's
no longer "just remember how deep to go", it's also
remember to analyze your own stuff and learn how
to mix your own gases and don't forget to buy another
computer that is nitrox capable b/c your old one
won't work, etc., etc.
i guess it sounds like i'm making excuses for
myself (and maybe i am), but it sure seems over-
whelming to me (don't know about anyone else)
and it's just that much more effort that i have
to put in when AT THIS TIME i don't "need" to.
...i can see the shop/boat point of view (that there
is little demand), but i think you are stumped on
the mere explanation that--very experienced--
divers give, namely that there is no supply,
b/c i can see how that seems weak.
best wishes in your investigations.
