i don't disagree w/you about buddies, but in this
situation--if indeed the cavern air is toxic--complacency
had nothing to do w/this tragedy: IGNORANCE did--but
that's another story altogether.

i've understood what you've written before, mike,
but in this case, i think you maybe reading too
much into it. (just my humble opinion, though.)
