They can do math that you or I can't do in our heads (differential equations) that allow us to dive longer and more often during the day because they give us credit for time spent off-gassing at a depth less than our max.
I'm glad you don't use computers, that means your in the water less, disturbing fewer of my bugs and my halibut and my scallops.
