While I am in complete agreement on the C-card expiration issue, I have a few questions. Like most regulatory issues, the idea is sound, but enforcement is difficult.
Being in the aviation industry, I have seen more than my share of 'pencil whipped" logs. Why would an infrequent diver who needs retraining / refresher the most not just pencil in a bunch of beach dives?
Additionally, what about the multiple card carrying divers. Do you feel all agencies (including your favorites TDI and IANTD) will enact retroactive expiration on their cards?
