Unless I'm totally off base, I think all prospective students want the best quality instruction available, and when you put GUE and PADI side by side you'd have to be a terminal idiot not to realize the quality differences. Sure, PADI will sugar coat and pitch the mantra that diving is fun, fun, fun, for EVERYBODY, regardless age or physical condition. If folks fall for that nonesense you don't want 'em certified by GUE in the first place, especially the no hopers that only want certification for an occasional bubble butt trip to the tropics.
Bottom line, pitch GUE as quality instruction compared to the sloppiness of PADI and its ilk.
