I don't use a pony bottle, however if I were to use a bottle I would use an AL 40 rigged in deco/stage bottle fashion. This allows me the opportunity to hand the bottle off should my buddy run OOA.. Also, by properly rigging the bottle you can have the bottom of the bottle floating up behind you in the slip stream to reduce drag....
