Video u/w filter for Socal?

I'm new to u/w video and have just got my housing fitted with a UR Pro filter for "blue water" i.e. tropical waters. It worked great in Roatan. Can anybody tell me if that filter appropriate for Socal waters? or do I need the UR Pro filter for "green water"?
