Photo advice needed

I'm thinking about getting a still camera and I'm
looking for recommendations regarding the S&S MX-5 and other cameras in that price range and the MX-10 and other cameras in that price range.

Also, if I go with the MX-10, what accessories are worth getting/nice to have.
