Need advice on freezing lobster....

I usually cook mine fresh, so last night's catch is the first I will be freezing. Do you all just freeze the tails? Can you freeze the whole lobster. How do you store the frozen lobster, and how long does it keep in a standard freezer?

Advice greatly appreciated, relatives are visiting right after season closure so I want to have some lobster for them!
