Bug diving

I'm planing to go bug dive on sat.
My current plan is to dive the break wall at Marina del Rey.
Have any of you guys done a dive there before?
I have a boat (20'), so I have some other options.
My other choice would be to drag it down south to Dana and dive that area. Any Ideas reconmendations? This will be my first dive from my boat.
A little help please.
